ARTIST BIO

Jacqueline Smith was born in Surrey UK in 1945.

she migrated to Australia in1957, she was one of the £10 Poms on board MV Fairsea.

she became a Naturalised Australian in 1995.

her interest in Chinese Watercolour painting began in 1988 until 2014 when she discovered Acrylics and Oil Impasto.

she paints large floral works on canvas, portraits and still lifes. She has many Silk Scrolls with her Chinese Watercolour Works.

Jacqueline has had many Group Exhibitions and 2 solo shows. One in 2000 at Chinese Museum in Melbourne and one at Box Hill Communit Art Centre in 2016.
