ARTIST NOTES: This large piece was in response to the most amazing sunrise I was lucky to catch at Queenscliff one morning. The colours formed as there were low clouds. I had to hurry back and do a quick sketch and notes so as not to lose the feeling before I could get to work. I think I caught the feeling...

ARTIST BIO

Back in 1992 Michelle Walker, a Primary Teacher with a passion for children\'s book illustration, found a further outlet for her creativity with a range of individually painted Toy Boxes.  This quickly began a business that she ran for the next 25 years.

\"When I sold my business last year I was finally able to return to my first love...painting and creating artworks.  I plan to continue to learn and hone my skills as I am finally free to dedicate my time to being the best artist I can be.  I can\'t tell you how much joy this brings me, and hopefully others as they follow my journey...\"
